Wearable Fashion History
I’m a bit of an old lady while I work at the computer: I have a pillow for back support, reading glasses and a blanket on my lap. Atlas likes to be close at all times, and makes no effort to remain small and out of the way. I often realize that he’s scooted me right to the end of the chair, having taken it over for himself.
Today was no exception.
Let’s be real: as far as holidays go, Valentines Day is pretty ridiculous….the perfect occasion to wear the most absurdly awesome vintage sweater in the world! I bought this months ago for the shop, and it never made it. Straight to my sweater drawer it went!
Now imagine me wearing this and listening to this song on repeat while I work with some white girl chair dancing goin on, and you know what my day looks like. Tonight we’re “celebrating” by ordering pizza and watching a movie in our ‘jams. Perfect.
Vintage sweater: thrifted
If you’re anything like me, you use your makeup brushes daily, but fail to clean them as often as you should.
I usually use shampoo to wash them, but last night as I reached in the shower to grab my shampoo to clean these babies, my arm extended past the bottle of Cetaphil, and a little light went off!
Using a gentle facial cleanser to wash your brushes will keep unwanted irritants off your skin. Warm water, cleanser, good rinse – and you’re done!
